In line with the security features it offers to its Cardholders to give you the convenience and peace of mind, BankMed goes another step in preventing and detecting fraud by launching Verified by Visa (VbV), a free and simple-to-use service that confirms Cardholder and Merchant identity during an online transaction.
How it works
- You can enroll your Card in Verified by Visa now or while shopping online at a VbV participating merchant.
- Once enrolled, every time you shop online with a VbV participating merchant you will be prompted to enter your selected Shopping Password to complete the transaction.
- The Shopping Password is not required if the merchant does not participate in Verified by Visa.
