What is the cash withdrawal interest rate on the credit card?
Effective November 2018, the monthly interest rate on cash withdrawal is 2.80% from the date of transaction.
Interest rate on ATM and cash advances is applied from the transaction date with zero grace period.
What is the minimum amount due?
The minimum amount due is 10% minimum LBP 1,000,000 which ever is greater
What do you mean by grace period up to 50 days ?
The transaction grace period is up to 50 days from the purchase transaction date. No interest is applied on the purchase transactions posted in the current billing cycle if they are paid in full during the payment grace period of the related statement. The number of days varies from 20 days up to 50 days depending on the date of the transaction. No grace period is applied to cash withdrawal transactions.
How do I settle my credit card Payment?
- You can settle your credit card payment through the following:
Standing Instruction: you have the option to settle your 10%, 25% 50% or 100% of your monthly outstanding balance through our standing instruction to debit your bank account at any Bank in Lebanon
- MedOnline: you can manage your scheduled and recurring transfers at your convenience by requesting a debit of your bank account via MedOnline
- Bankmed Branches: you can visit our wide network of branches geographically spread across Lebanon to pay your monthly dues
If I did not settle my dues on time what will happen?
The Minimum Amount Due must be deposited in the Card Account on or before the payment due date specified on the statement, failing to do so will result in being charged a late payment fee of LBP 250,000.
Can I spend more than my limit?
You can reach intentionally or accidentally up to 10% more than your authorized card limit; however, you will be charged an Over Limit fee. In case the current balance exceeds the credit limit then such excess amounts will be added to the Minimum Amount Due of the credit limit.
The monthly over limit fee is LBP 250,000.
What is the annual card fee?
The annual fee for primary cards varies according to the card option:
- Primary Card: Standard: LBP 1,000,000
- Supplementary Card: LBP 750,000
