Some tips to help make your card usage a great experience.
For your convenience, your card(s) will be automatically renewed, unless you notify us in writing to the contrary, at least one month prior to its expiry date. "Renewal Fees" are automatically applied to the "Card Account".
The term "Due Date" means the day on which the "Due Amount" must be deposited in the card account. The "Due Date" for your Bankmed credit card is normally 20 calendar days from the "Statement Date". The charge card "Due Date" is normally 7 days from the "Statement Date".
The term "Due Amount" is the minimum amount that must be paid in the card account before or on the "Due Date". In case the "Due Amount" is not fully deposited in the "Card Account" on or before the "Due Date", the card account is classified as “Unpaid”.
In order to avoid payment settlement of "Late Payment Fees", please make sure that your payment value date does not extend beyond the "Due Date" specified on the statement, and that the payments to your "Card Account" are cleared on or before the "Due Date". Cardholders of unpaid card accounts are subject to "Late Payments Fees" and they risk "Card De-activation", i.e. no transactions will be allowed on the card at least until the "Card Account" status becomes normal.
“Over-limit Fee” is a charge applied to Card Accounts that intentionally or accidently spend more than the limit authorized on their cards. To avoid being charged "Over-limit Fees", make sure you remember your "Card Limit", mentioned on the letter delivered to you with the card. It is highly recommended that you keep track of your card spending activity. For statement handling and SMS transaction notification service, you will be charged minimal monthly "Administrative Fees" automatically debited to your card. The SMS service keeps you in close control over the activity that takes place on your card, whether such activity is genuine or fraudulent. By sending to your mobile number a billing notification message, it helps you keep track of your payment or your "Due Amount" before the "Due Date".
